Front-End Developer (Halifax)

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain responsive web applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Write clean, modular, and scalable code in TypeScript.
• Work closely with the design team to translate wireframes and designs into high-quality, user-friendly code.
• Identify potential issues before they arise and proactively seek out solutions.
• Embrace feedback as an opportunity to learn and improve, while confidently contributing your own ideas.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in front-end development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React.js and Next.js.
• An independent mindset—comfortable taking ownership of projects and seeing them through.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, making decisions with confidence and clarity.
• A natural collaborator who communicates openly and is always looking to improve.

Nice to Have (but not required):

• Experience with back-end technologies: Node, PHP, Laravel.
• Familiarity with containerization tools like Docker.
• Knowledge of cloud infrastructure, especially AWS ECS.
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL/Postgres (RDS).
